Air Design Groupは、シンガポールを拠点に、新たに発足したインダストリアル・コンサルティング会社で、インターナショナルなクライアント達に優れたデザインを提供している。Nathan Yongは、シンガポールのファニチャー・デザイン界では有名な人物。彼は、まだモダン・ファニチャーのプロデューサーが非常に少なかったシンガポールで、ファニチャーブランド、AIRを8年前に立ち上げている。Jerry Lowもまた、10年以上ファニチャーの世界に関わってきた。
彼は、プロダクトデザイナーとしてCellini、Alu Southeast AsiaやXimula等の会社でキャリアをスタート。それぞれのビジネス界における、デザインと生産技術への豊富な経験と理解は、Air Design Groupというダイナミックなパートナーシップとなる。
現在に至るまで、このクリエイティブ・デュオは、第9回International Bicycle Design Competition for the Venture Bike 2006で功労賞、さらに2006年に「BIOPOD coffin」、また2007年に「Coal room heater」では、Design Conceptでレッドドットアワードを受賞している。
Air Design Group is a Singapore based industrial consultancy firm aiming to create good designs for international clients. Nathan Yong is a well-known figure in the Singapore Furniture design industry. He set up the furniture brand AIR, eight years ago, at a time when there were very few producers of modern furniture in Singapore. Jerry Low has also been working in the furniture field for over 10 years, starting as a product designer for Cellini, Alu Southeast Asia and Ximula. Their collective understanding of the design in business and manufacturing techniques brings both competence and rigour to Air Design Group.
Since its inception, the creative duo have already garnered awards for their winning designs including the Merit Award at the 9th International Bicycle Design Competition for the Venture Bike as well as the Red dot Award: Design concept 2006 for the work “BIOPOD coffin”. And 2007 for the work of “Coal room heater”.
