第4回を迎えるクリエイティブ・イベント「SCVF」。今回も、CCCをメイン会場に、グラフィック、プロダクト、インテリア、ファニチャー、アートなど、様々なクリエーターの作品がCCC（静岡市クリエーター支援センター）館内を埋め尽くします。
今年のテーマは「産業とデザイン文化の融合」。近年、アジア各国では国家戦略の一つとして、メディア産業、及び芸術・文化産業等のクリエイティブ産業を育てる動きが多くみられます。わが国においても、その重要性が再認識される中、今や、デザインは単なるスタイルだけのものではなく、トータル・ソリューションとしてのデザインが求められつつあります。こうした傾向に則して、SCVF０４では、21世紀の新時代に適応する「産業」と「デザイン文化」に焦点をあてます。
今回、目玉となるのは「SCVFデザイン・ショーケース」と「SCVFスクリーニング・ショーケース」。
「SCVFデザイン・ショーケース」では、:phunk studioをはじめとする8名のシンガポール・クリエーターによる「NEWWAVE」展や、世界中のデザインイベントで注目されるイタリアの「designboom」による展覧会とワークショップを開催。その他、国内外有名クリエーターと地元企業の新商品開発プロジェクト「SCVマッチングプロジェクト」や「静岡発！ ランデヴープロジェクト」の新商品発表、その他「CCC入居クリエーター展」、「学生作品展」などを開催します。また、「SCVFスクリーニング・ショーケース」では、イギリスの「shots＿世界のCMフェスティバル」を開催。2008年カンヌ国際広告祭の受賞作品や世界のCM優秀作品、アニメーション、ミュージックビデオなどCM・映像ファン必見のコンテンツを上映します。

The creative event SCVF is proud to present its 4th festival. With the main venue located at CCC, we will see rooms filled with works by creatives from various design fields such as graphic, product, interior, furniture, and fine arts.
SCVF has set the theme for this year as “Uniting Industry and Design Culture”. In recent years, we have seen various Asian countries eagerly develop their creative industries, including media, arts and culture. As Japan also recognizes the industry’s importance, ‘design’ is no longer merely a style, but expected to be a ‘total solution’. With such trends, SCVF04 will bring into focus ‘industry’ and ‘design culture’ that have adapted to the 21st century.
This year’s featured programs are “SCVF Design Showcase” and “SCVF Screening Showcase”. “SCVF Design Showcase” will include the exhibition “NEW WAVE”, showing works by 8 Singaporean creators including :phunk studio. There is an exhibition and a workshop by “designboom” from Italy, which is receiving much attention in various international design scenes. Also, there will be new products shown from “SCV Matching Project” and “Rendez-vous Project in Shizuoka”, product development projects with local companies and domestic & internationally renowned creatives. The exhibitions “CCC Creators in Residence”, and “Student Works Exhibition” will also be held.
“SCVF Screening Showcase” features “shots_world CM Festival” (UK) screenings. Cannes Lions 2008 award winning work, together with the world’s great TV commercials, animations, and music videos will be shown. All are must-watch screenings for moving image fans.
