Now in its 10th year and stronger than ever, the CFP-E/shots Young Director Award is recognised internationally as the defining accolade for emerging directors. Held each summer during the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, the award aims to bring the work of new directors to the attention of the wider advertising community. Operating across disciplines as diverse as TV commercials, virals and short films, the Young Director Award has evolved with the craft to champion cutting edge creative communication. With past winners such as Rattling Stick’s Ringan Ledwidge and Sonny’s Emil Moller, the award has launched careers and has established a solid reputation for setting tomorrow’s film making agenda today.
