The year long event by the Shizuoka native manga artist Shiriagari Kotobuki continues. In this exhibition "Mou-ii-ra." (Enough Already?) includes new works by Kosakuten members who will put on an exhibit "Drop Your Swords! Super Yoroi Exhibit" with the theme of Ieyasu and yoroi (Japanese armour) at CCC. The popular "Reading Room" and "Dai Kaiten-sai" will continue. Come and experience the ever-changing world of Shiriagari!

Riusuke Fukahori “Goldfish Salvation 2”

ICN holds the second exhibition by Riusuke Fukahori - "Goldfish Salvation 2" in London. Fukahori is a talented Japanese artist who is renowned for developing a unique technique whereby layers of resin are successively poured and painted on to produce hyper realistic representations of goldfish swimming in water. ICN produced his video in 2012 and his meticulous work recently burst into popular culture after a video of his process went viral, racking up almost three and a half million views on YouTube and Vimeo. As a result he received critical acclaim and has exhibited worldwide. Related event, Fukahori will do an artist talk and live painting demonstration at Japan Foundation London.

It is the third time exhibition to collaborate with “sake no hana 酒の花”. “Sake no hana” is authentic Japanese restaurant based in Mayfair, London, opened in November 2007. The restaurant was built by Japanese architecture “Kengo Kuma” and directed by Alan Yau who is the directer of “Wagamama” and many famous restaurants. The wooden interior, made by Kengo Kuma, acquires a huge reputation and it was chosen as the best design prize by Time out magazine in 2008. ICN receives a offer from sake no hana to exhibit Japanese contemporary art work in the restaurant, and ICN organized the exhibition regularly from June, 2014 to March, 2015.

Yuri Suzuki “Playing with Sound” – Welcome to the world of experiential sound

CCC (the center for creative communications) presents the exhibition "Playing with Sound" by Yuri Suzuki, a sound artist/designer pursuing the relationship between sound and people. Along the theme of playing with sound, Suzuki's exhibit allows visitors to play his light-hearted works. The works have hidden Pop-like devices providing enjoyment with unseen sounds and movement mechanisms. As a experiential world where one can touch the artwork, everyone from children to adults will enjoy this exhibition.
Also on November 29th (Sat.), a first-time live performance session with Yuri Suzuki and Kouichi Okamoto will take place just before their collaborative music work is released.
