From the high street (Diesel) to the catwalk (Alexander McQueen) consumers are being offered a wide variety of new modes of engagement with fashion – from interactive online catalogues to real-time webcasts of haute couture collections, digital technology is revolutionising the way we look at fashion, injecting a whole new experiential thread into the previous two-dimensional images in high-end magazines like Vogue and Harpers.
