The seventh annual moving images festival, “onedotzero” of England will be held in Shizuoka for the second time after its success in 2002. Onedotzero is recognized worldwide as an event that discovers new talents in short films, music videos, and animation. Latest music videos from Bjork, Primal Scream, Massive Attack, and more are expected to screen at the event, as well as short films by creators worldwide. A feature film of work by female directors, “girls on film,” as well as a feature film of Passion Pictures, a UK animation studio known for work with the virtual band, Gorillaz, will be screened at the event. In Shizuoka, “Gondry Forever,” a program that was not available in Tokyo will also be screened. At the kickoff party in Shizuoka, Matthew Herbert will be hosting a secret gig.
