HIDEKI INABA
Born in 1971 in Shizuoka. After graduating with an engineering degree he began his work as a graphic designer. He received acclaim for his unique art direction work with titles such as “+81” and “SAL magazine”. In 2004 he held the exhibition “NEWLINE”. Awards received include the red dot communication award and his work was chosen for the book cover of Taschen’s popular book “Graphic Design Now” which received international attention. Inaba has also collaborated with shu uemura to create the “BTB24-graphic design by hideki inaba” collection. In 2008 he was invited to Design Indaba 11 in Cape Town and his work “Print Line” was presented at the “Kansei” exhibit held in Paris. In 2010 his exhibit “9010 HIDEKI INABA” was held at the Mitsubishi-Jisho Artium and the works were short-listed at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival.
