Creative workshop “SPIRIT GARDEN, Shizuoka 2008”

The Children’s Design Workshop was held in the summer. Under the direction of the Europe-based professional designer Masayo Abe, the naturally curious and expressive children found the mysteries in the nature around them using their five sense and to express themselves in this design project.

CCC hosted a fun workshop this summer that required the use of five senses and involved both the children and speaker, MasayoAve. A design team was formed between the speaker, children, and staff for this project. The “Spirit Garden,” a magical contemporary garden reviving the spirits of children, was created in a closed-off elementary school building. This exhibit will be available for viewing until September 30.
