CCC Creative Workshop “Landscape Portraits with Collage”
Emily Allchurch is one of the UK’s up-and-coming artists and for this workshop she will be teaching participants how to create landscape portraits using photo-collage. By using collage techniques of combining seemingly unrelated images, one can express unexpectedly magical worlds. Come stimulate your creativity and experience a different way of “painting” with photo-collage.
Works made in this workshop will be on exhibit on the first floor of CCC from May 11th.
Date : 20 ,27 April 2013 10:00 – 16:00 (with breaks) *workshop is both days (Rain date for 4/20 is sunday the 21st)
Participation : Limited to 10 people (minimum of 5 people needed)
*Must be 18 or over and be able to participate both days. Also participants need their own laptop computer with Photoshop installed. At least basic usage knowledge of the software is necessary.

Photo walk is planned to cover historical and cityscape areas in downtown Shizuoka City.
* Rain date for the 20th will be the following day, Sunday April 21st.
With the theme of “Shizuoka Story : Tales of a City”, participants will do a photo walk with the instructor in Shizuoka City and then create their own Shizuoka Story through photo-collage. This is a chance for interation with the artist and to learn many techniques and processes.
