Paradise Yamamoto
Mambonsai Horticulturalist

A former car designer, Paradise Yamamoto is a hyper-creator: a mambo musician, mambonsai master, bath salts sommelier, gyoza dumpling king, as well as a Santa Claus accredited by Greenland’s The International Association of Authorized Santa Claus. Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 1962, Paradise graduated from Industrial Design Course of Nihon University College of Art. He then worked at the Subaru Design Center, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. and in 1983 he made his debut album called “Mambo Tengoku” with Tokyo Panorama Mambo Boys and then formed “Paradise Yamamoto and his Tokyo Latin Mood Deluxe”. He has held mambonsai exhibitions in London, Los Angeles, and also at the Musee des Beaux-Arts de Nimes in France. In 2008 he made his debut as a director with the movie “Bonsai Girl”.
