I have always been interested in "Pictures" and have thus inspired many of my works.I am especially interested in the frames of the pictures.
I have longed to transfer the world I am looking at into pictures as close as I can.If pictures are humans perception of images, it can be said that the frames of the pictures are the border of human perception. There is the distinct border of the pictures, and the edge of human sight which can only be recognized vaguely....
My works are always produced as a model of my "Ideal Pictures" over two points that can never be overlapped. [Seijiro Niwa]
