[Landmarks and Mindmine:Letters from home]
"landmarks and mindmines : letters from home" is an investigation of personal and collective cultural identity; a study of self as it relates to one's society; and an inquiry into the current condition of a vanishing filipino culture as a result of colonialism. it illustrates my current "obsession" towards issues of language evolution, heritage, history, mental landscapes and memory, cultural symbology + iconography, religion and
cultural morphosis; discussing its force, role and impact towards my own culture, drawing parallels between these sins of past change with today's technological colonialism, happening on a global level. [+cruz]
